The library is currently closed for major renovations, and we have moved limited collections and services to our temporary location at the Walter Knott Education Center (7300 La Palma Avenue, Building 10). Visit us at our temporary location for grab-and-go pickup services, family storytimes, and scheduled programs. Wifi, seating, computer lab, and passport services are unavailable at this time.
 
Mondays-Thursdays: 10:00AM-8:00PM, Fridays-Saturdays: 10:00AM-5:00PM

Until further notice, the book drop at the library (7150 La Palma Avenue) remains open to receive after hour returns.
 
We anticipate that renovations will take 18-24 months and hope that the modernizations to the library will better serve you and our community for many years to come.

June Name Charm Challenge on Beanstack (www.buenapark.beanstack.org or on the free Beanstack app).
 
Each book logged will automatically enter your name into a drawing for a customized name charm generously

Join us for songs and stories for kids of all ages at 10:10AM, followed by Lunch at the Library on Mon-Wed at 10:45AM. Free lunch will be provided for anyone 18 and younger, and children 12 and younger will be able to take home a free book to build their own home library. While supplies last.
 
No registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger for the entirety of this program. Space is limited.  
Spanish/English Family Storytime
Thursdays: June 18, 25

Join us for songs and stories in Spanish and English for kids of all ages at 10:10AM, followed by Lunch at the Library at 10:45AM. Free lunch will be provided for anyone 18 and younger, and children 12 and younger will be able to take home a free book to build their own home library. While supplies last.
 
No registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger for the entirety of this program. Space is limited.

  • Discuss books and current trends
  • Plan fun programs and events

Wild Dark Shore: Reese's Book Club Pick (a Novel) by Charlotte McConaghy

Join us to discuss Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy. Dominic Salt and his three children are caretakers of Shearwater, a tiny island not far from Antarctica. Home to the world’s largest seed bank, Shearwater was once full of researchers, but with sea levels rising, the Salts are now its final inhabitants. Until, during the worst storm the island has ever seen, a woman mysteriously washes ashore.
