Registration for our summer activities opens on Monday, June 22nd. Families can register online through our website by visiting the Programs page. Find the program on the calendar, click it, and hit the registration button.
 
The following programs require registration:
  • Dragons Love Tacos Storytime & Craft (Registration is open)
  • Family Night BINGO!
  • Family Night Trivia!
  • Slime Making
  • Treasure Hunt
Please be sure to review the minimum age requirements.
We’ll also be offering a variety of drop-in programs that do not require registration, including:
  • Weekly Crafts
  • Craft Pop Ups!
  • Storytime & Crafts at the Humphrey Museum
All Seguin Public Libraries' branches will be closed on July 1st, 2026, for Canada Day.

Drop-In Programs
The Libraries will be joining the Canada Day celebration hosted by Seguin Recreation & Culture Committee with a fun-filled Treasure Hunt throughout the Foley field!
 
Find the Libraries' table to pick up your treasure map and begin your adventure. Win a prize when you find all of the hidden gems.

Join us every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from July 9th through August 20th for a special Storytime at the Humphrey Museum.
Each week, we'll feature a new story for children and adults to enjoy together, followed by a themed craft activity.

Treasure Hunt | Team of all ages
 
The Humphrey Branch will host four exciting themed treasure hunts throughout the library.
 
Treasure hunts will take place on Fridays and Saturdays with four time slots available each day: 10am, 11am, Noon, or 1pm.

Painting Class with Daphne Gray
Join Daphne Gray for a six-week painting course for ages 9-13. Kids will learn to paint landscapes and various elements of nature in a fun, creative environment.
 
Every Monday from July 6th to August 17th (excluding August 3rd)
4:30pm – 6:30pm
Registration fee is $120 (Total cost for all six sessions, program fee goes directly instructor)

The Friends of the Seguin Public Libraries present the Annual Book, Bake & Yard Sale on Saturday, August 8th, from 8:00 am to Noon at the Humphrey Gazebo, 15 Humphrey Dr.

All items should be clean and in good condition. We cannot accept large furniture, computers,
mattresses, cribs, car seats, clothing or shoes.
We are accepting donations at the Humphrey Branch from June 29th to August 7th during regular branch hours.
