Let the browsing begin! We are excited to announce you can visit in person. The Humphrey and Christie branches will be open to visits, starting July 12th and July 19th respectively. Also, the Foley and Rosseau branches will be open for curbside pickup again starting on July 12th. We are committed to providing a safe environment at the libraries for you and our team. Our in-person visits will follow the government and local health unit recommendations. Avoid the summer reading slide by joining your kids up to the TD Summer Reading Club. Studies show children in younger grades lost, on average, about 20 percent of their school-year gains in reading over the summer break. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

We invite you to participate in this free program which encourages you to read 1000 books with your child before they start kindergarten (book repeats count). We recommend the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten app on a device to track the books read. Just scan the ISBN number on the back of the book to help keep track of their milestones. Certificates can be printed from their website. Please share with us your child's reading success and efforts.
