Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week! Tigard Public Library is proud to recognize National Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 19-25! In the past 12 months, 208 volunteers at the library helped in 40 unique roles and contributed over 6,000 hours to Tigard Public Library. If you have volunteered for the library one time or one thousand times, we are so grateful that you chose to share your time and your skills with Tigard Public Library. Whether you helped in the garden, shelved books, served on a committee, or did something else entirely, we can’t thank you enough. Your commitment to the Tigard community helps make the library a community hub for knowledge and enrichment where everyone feels welcome.

Looking for encouragement, a book recommendation, or just some random, weird facts? Submit your question at the Library's express location and an actual, real-life Teen Library Council member will compose a reply! You can peruse the Just Ask Gen Z notebook to see even more of their witty retorts and words of wisdom.

Saturday, April 18 | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Tigard City Hall | Adults Join us for a walk with Master Naturalist Natalie DaSilva along the Fanno Creek Trail as she identifies some of the plants and wildlife in our area and discusses their importance to the ecosystem and waters of Fanno Creek. Meet in the courtyard outside of Tigard City Hall.
