| | Effective Monday, November 24, 2025, the
Waynesville branch will be temporarily closed for the replacement of the roof and HVAC system.
The library building, parking area, book drop, and curbside service will be closed to the public. Library services available during this time include:
Branch Access: The Canton, Maggie Valley, and Fines Creek branches will be open with normal operating hours Programs & Events: In-person programming will be available at the Canton branch Book Lockers: Self-service lockers at Lakeside Plaza & Fines Creek remain available for the pickup of materials on hold Online Services: Continue to access digital resources, including eBooks, research databases, and virtual programs at haywoodlibrary.org Remote Assistance: Telephone assistance and account services are available during normal operating hours
