What is Chick Lit? We're Glad You Asked.

Chick Lit is a genre of fiction that delves into the issues of modern girlhood and womanhood, often with humor and lightheartedness. Although it sometimes includes romantic elements, chick lit is generally not considered a direct subcategory of the romance novel genre. The heroine's relationship with her family or friends is often
just as important as her romantic relationships.
