All Washoe County Library locations will be closed on December 25 and January 1.


Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve


On December 24 and December 31 all Washoe County Library locations will close by 4 pm. The Duncan/Traner Community Library, Gerlach Community Library, and Verdi Community Library & Nature Center will be closed all day, and the Senior Center Library will close at its normal time of 1 pm.

Rose Bowl Floats

Thursday & Friday, December 26–27

3:30–5:30 pm

Sierra View Library

Make your own mini shoebox float for the Rose Bowl over this two-day Crafternoon camp! We'll parade them in the library and mall, too!
