Each month folks from PBS Reno will bring Curiosity Classroom to our libraries.
Curiosity Classroom uses on-air, online, and print resources to help parents, caregivers, and childhood educators prepare children for success.
This month: Moon in Motion. Explore how the moon moves across the sky at night and how the moon changes in a cycle that lasts about a month. The culminating activity is demonstrating their knowledge by using Oreo cookies. Of course they get to eat the "moon."
These events are best for Pre-K through second grade. Registration is appreciated.
