Pioneer Center Youth Programs presents high caliber performances by professional artists in public and private elementary schools, public libraries, and community centers across Washoe, Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, and Storey counties.
Through February, Washoe County Library locations will be hosting performances by taiko drum group Tsrunokai, magician Larry Wilson, and musical ensemble the Note-Ables. |

Library Closures
All Washoe County Library locations will be closed Thursday, January 1, for New Year's Day. On Wednesday, December 31, all libraries will close early — at 4 pm — except the Gerlach Community Library, the Verdi Community Library and Nature Center, and the Duncan/Traner Community Library, which will be closed all day, and the Senior Center library which will close at its usual time of 1 pm.
The Duncan/Traner Community Library, Gerlach Community Library, and Verdi Community Library and Nature Center will be closed through Monday, January 5, for the Washoe County School District winter break.
