Reno's annual literary celebration returns with a day of panel discussions, author readings, family-friendly interactive activities, and performances at venues across Downtown Reno.


The Downtown Reno Library will host events starting at 10 am with Story Time, continuing throughout the day with Nevada Humanities programs from 11 am to 4:30 pm.

Library Board of Trustees Meeting


Wednesday, September 16, 5:30 pm

The Library Board meets regularly on the third Wednesday of each month, usually at one of the library's 12 locations. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend in person or view on YouTube.


Agendas, minutes, and recordings of past library board meetings are available on the library website.

Changes to Library Board of Trustees Meetings

Beginning with the September meeting of the Library Board of Trustees, it will no longer be possible to participate or make public comments via Zoom. Members of the public who wish to make live comments to the board must do so in person.


Community members will still have the option of sending written comments in advance by emailing sschubach@washoecounty.gov. Include subject line "For Public Comment." Email comments must be received by 4 pm on the business day prior to the meeting.


Live meetings will still be available to view online, though they will now be streamed on YouTube. To view, simply visit our YouTube channel at the scheduled meeting time.
