Dr. Sandra Ott will join us to discuss the incredible odysseys of the 'Luxembourg Jews" in France and beyond. Several convoys of mainly east European Jews fled to Luxembourg, and then, in May 1940, faced the Nazi ultimatum: leave Europe or be deported. Their stories are full of hardship, resilience, bad luck and good luck, and much more.
