There are just a few days left in the current Friends of Washoe County Library book sale. Sunday, March 29, is bag day — pay $5 for anything you can fit in a supplied bag. As always, the sale is being held next door to the Sierra View Library in the Reno Town Mall.


Friends of Washoe County Library is a member-supported 501(c)(3) Nevada nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating, fundraising, and providing support for the Washoe County Library System. This season, Brüka Theatre for Children presents a new original work The Sporkals League: A Hero’s Adventure. Named for the spoon/fork variety utensil in lunchrooms, this kooky group of problem solvers is in a league of their own as they focus their talents on values and creating community.
