Marblehead Peninsula Writing Group September 1 & 15; 6:00-7:30 p.m. Join the Marblehead Peninsula Writing Group at their bi-monthly (twice per month) meeting! Get feedback on your own writing, provide advice for other writers, and learn more about the craft. This is a supportive group, open to all levels of writers and facilitated by an experienced writing teacher. You don't have to bring any of your own writing to share; all who are interested in writing are welcome. Crafting with Magoo: DIY Paper Pumpkin Wall Art September 12, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Fall is approaching and it is time to think about different ways to decorate. I have found a DIY paper pumpkin wall hanging that can stay up all the way through Thanksgiving. We may even call it a wreath. Registration is required. Limit 13. Registration opens August 29. |
Kelleys Island: An Island for All Seasons September 17, 6-7 p.m. Join us for a premiere showing of a new documentary from WBGU: "Known today for its scenic shoreline and natural attractions, Kelleys Island holds a history carved into its limestone cliffs and wooded trails. This documentary explores the island’s transformation from an industrial center to a destination for recreation and conservation. Through historical accounts and the voices of year-round residents, we uncover the stories, traditions, and landscapes that continue to shape Kelleys Island today." No registration required. |

Crafting with Magoo Kids: No-Sew Glove Monster September 26, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Ever wonder what you can do with a single glove? You can make a no sew glove monster. These little glove monsters are fun to make and just in time to decorate your room for Halloween. No registration. Children 8 and under must have an adult with them. |
