| Help shape the future of Kawartha Lakes Public Library
by taking our community survey.
As Kawartha Lakes continues to grow, the library needs to grow with it. To guide this development, the library is working with Nordicity Consulting to create a Growth Management Plan, a strategic roadmap to plan for the next ten years of library spaces, collections, services, and programs. This is your opportunity to help shape what the future looks like.
The survey is open until Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and only takes a few minutes to complete. Residents of all ages are encouraged to participate and share their ideas, concerns, and aspirations for the future of library service in Kawartha Lakes.

Touch a Truck Events

| Kid-friendly activities using emerging technologies! Drop in for a few minutes or stay for the whole event. Suitable for children aged 4-12 accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Summer Reading Challenge
for Adults! |
Read books from different continents - either written by an author from that continent or set in that region. One lucky participant will win a travel-themed gift basket! Pick up your reading challenge sheet at any library branch all summer long, or download a copy from this webpage.
