Readers Poll

Have you ever had a literary crush?

Just in time for Valentine's Day: Which book character did you fall for?

TELL US!

January Poll Results: When did you get your first SLO County library card?

86 readers responded--More than half of you got your first card at least 20 years ago!

One reader recalled using the tiny one-room building that was the original Los Osos Library. Another reader still has the card they got at age 6 (signed with a backwards 's'!). And a shoutout to the college student who loves having their library card--We're glad you're here.

And for those who remember the Black Gold days: Thank you for sticking with us while we continue to expand our collections and services :)

Cozy Winter Reading challenge ends February 10!

Kids, teens, adults: Turn in your completed Cozy Winter Reading cards at any of our

14 locations by February 10 to be eligible for prizes.

Read and rate Audiobooks, cookbooks, short books, long books, poetry...anything goes!
