Donation Drive: Warm coats for adults

Donate new and gently used adult coats to Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, and San Luis Obispo libraries November 29 - December 10. The Transitions Mental Health Association (TMHA) Library Outreach Team will distribute to our neighbors in need.

November is Native American

Heritage Month

Celebrate Chumash, Salinan, and other indigenous cultures with these recommended reads for all ages, or by signing into Kanopy with your library card to discover the Native American Heritage Month film collection.

Food, Family & Friends

We've got lots of cookbooks for planning your holiday menus. Can't make it to the library to pick one up? Try an e-cookbook!

Need a little help with the grocery bills? You might qualify for CalFresh. The Shandon Library is hosting CalFresh signup assistance with SLO Food Bank Thursday, Nov. 10.

Holiday Hours & Service Updates

Veteran's Day All libraries will be closed Friday, Nov. 11.
Thanksgiving All libraries will close at 5pm Wednesday, Nov. 23, and will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25.

Due to area construction, the Nipomo Library parking lot's 2nd exit

is subject to intermittent closures through December.

Yes! You can print at our Regional and Community libraries from anywhere and any device:

  1. Visit the Mobile Printing Services page at SLOLibrary.org to send a file or webpage URL to print, or to send an email or email attachment.

  2. Visit your selected library to print; sign into the print station with the email address you entered when you sent your print project. Printing costs 10 cents per page.
