All County of SLO Public Libraries offices will be closed Monday, February 13th, in observance of Lincoln's Birthday and Monday, February 20th, in observance of Presidents' Day.

Branch Out at San Miguel Library

Saturdays | February 11, 18, 25
10 am - 3 pm
(closed for lunch 12-1 pm)


We'll be reopening the doors of the San Miguel Library soon, but in the meantime, the big blue library van will be parked in front of the library on Saturdays, through Feb. 25. You'll be able to borrow books, get a library card, learn about library services, and meet new manager Grant Thompson!

OverDrive Retires its
Classic Mobile App in April

If you use the classic blue OverDrive app on your phone or tablet for eBooks, you've probably seen a message from OverDrive saying you’ll need to switch to Libby, OverDrive’s newer reading app.

If you use OverDrive on your computer, you aren't required to switch to Libby.

Book of the Year: All My Rage

Join the SLO County reading community by reading All My Rage, our 2023 Book of the Year. This book is contemporary fiction focusing on two Pakistani American teens, Salahudin and Noor, and their experiences. This annual literary program is hosted in partnership with Cuesta College.
