Happy New Year! The Springfield City Library staff wish you a safe, healthy, and Happy New Year.

Add these great family activities to your next curbside pick up at participating branches: - DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN - Enjoy a fun family activity this winter with this take and make kit and free board book! There are so many ways to build a snowman, what's your favorite? Use one of our idea templates, or be creative and make your own with all the supplies provided. Take time with your child to read a winter story after! For ages 3-8.
At the following locations: Central Library, East Forest Park Branch, Forest Park Branch, Mason Square Branch - MAKERSPACE TO GO - Beat back the winter doldrums with some freestyle creative fun! We'll provide a "surprise" bag chock full of art and recycled materials such as paper, cardboard, ribbon, stickers, felt and yarn. You supply tape or glue and your amazing imagination. For ages 3 and up.
At the following location: Sixteen Acres Branch - ABC SCAVENGER HUNT - Look all around the house and outside for things that start with letters from the alphabet. Write or draw your answer. Call your branch library to obtain a copy curbside, or download and print from our website. Return your finished scavenger hunt for a small prize!

Curbside Pickup Available at All Locations We miss you! And although we can’t open our doors just yet, we want you to safely get the library items you want. Our contactless curbside pickup is easy! - Request items you’d like to borrow.
- We’ll let you know when the items are ready for pickup, and schedule an appointment with you to get them.
- When it’s your turn to pick up your items, follow the signs at your library, call the number provided, and we’ll bring your items out for you to pick up.
