Craft Your Heart Out @ Winters Community Library

The Winters Community Library is hosting an open craft event every month called Craft Your Heart Out. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting, this event welcomes all skill levels. Stop by the library to use crafting tools, materials or just to have a space to complete your craft projects. Meet fellow craft enthusiasts, share ideas, and make new friends who share your passion for creativity. This program is best for ages 16+.

Dia de Los Niños/ Children’s Day @ Arthur F. Turner Community Library

Join the celebration of Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros!  Everyone is welcome to participate in the free, fun, and educational celebrations taking place at (Yolo County Library/Branch Name) during the month of April. Children attending will receive a free book and enjoy educational activities, watch a special performance by Brazilian Day Street Festa Performance Group, and listen to a story time program.

***Performance to start at 2:00pm***

Todos son bienvenidos a participar en las celebraciones gratuitas, divertidas y educativas que se llevarán a cabo en (la Biblioteca del Condado de Yolo/Branch Name) durante el mes de abril. Los niños que asistan recibirán un libro gratis y disfrutarán de actividades educativas, un espectáculo especial por Brazilian Day Street Festa Performance Group y escucharán un programa de cuentos.

FOOD WILL WIN THE WAR @ Yolo Branch

A presentation of the “Lest We forget” project.  This 50-minute visual presentation by Mel Russell tells the story of how vital agriculture was to winning the First World War and the part played by the people of Dunnigan, Zamora and Yolo in the county’s all out efforts to maximize agriculture output. Refreshments will be available including “War Cookies and Bread”
