Event Details

Join us for a discussion of Dr. Zhivago (1957-Historical Fiction) by Boris Pasternak. Pasternak won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1958. The epic story of post-revolutionary Russia focuses on the torments and dreams of a doctor-poet who struggle to avoid the turbulence of the era. Copies of the book will be distributed to attendees of the October discussion, and limited copies available at the Centerville Reference Desk after the discussion.
