Long-Awaited Returns, Part 1

In October, we are totally nerding it up by celebrating not one, but two long awaited returns happening in the teen bookverse. First up, we turn our attention to Turtles All the Way Down by John Green. It's been five years since Green released his last book, and honestly, it can't get into our hands soon enough.

The impact of John Green on the YA lit world is difficult to measure. He made vlogging about books (and other nerdy stuff) cool, he helped re-brand the cancer book, and he has his own hand signal. Many of his fans have aged out of their teen years, however, so you may be as curious as we are to see how teen readers today will respond to the new book. You won't have to wait much longer. Turtles All the Way Down will be available on October 10, 2017.
Creative displays when you aren't sure what to expect
While we know a few things about it for sure, no one really knows what to expect from Turtles All the Way Down since all of John Green's books have been very different, plot-wise.

So what can you do for those teens waiting for a copy of the new book?

Focus on the appeals of John Green's books and make connections to other books with similar elements using our handy printable reading map. Print it, and make a display.
