Dear Community Member:
The Friends are holding a fundraiser to benefit the library!
This special fundraising event will raise funds to benefit the Boca Raton Public Library, which this year checked out over 1,000,000 physical and digital items, provided social and work space for over 513,900 visitors, and where over 54,500 patrons attended free community programs and classes.
Help us support this vital community resource! Join us January 24th at 6:00 pm for wine and hors d' oeuvres at the Spanish River Library in Boca Raton, followed by a lecture by distinguished Lynn University professor and award-winning author, Robert P. Watson, Ph.D., on the process of researching and writing books.
The event will also feature exciting raffle baskets from Trader Joe's, the YMCA, wine and other great gift items, as well as signed copies of two of Dr. Watson's most recent books, " The Nazi Titanic," and " The Ghost Ship of Brooklyn." Signed copies of both books will also be available for purchase at the event.
Tickets are $25 in advance (upon registration below); $35 at the door (credit cards accepted).
Registration is limited.
