Summary

Since time immemorial, a secret war has been waged beyond the edges of human understanding. Two siblings--the Immortal Man and the Infinite Woman--have fought over humanity's destiny. To help mankind, the Immortal Man has gifted part of his life force to a unique group of metahumans. Using their incredible powers, they aid him in his battle. They are the Immortal Men.

Author Notes

James Tynion IV started in the comics business assisting Scott Snyder in writing backup stories for Snyder's groundbreaking Batman series. Tynion soon began writing Talon , a series that spun out of the hugely popular "Batman: The Court of Owls" storyline. He has also written Constantine: The Hellblazer and Red Hood and the Outlaws and is currently at the helm of Batman--Detective Comics .

Jim Lee is a renowned comic book artist and the Co-Publisher of DC Entertainment. Prior to his current post, Lee served as Editorial Director, where he oversaw WildStorm Studios. Lee was also the artist for many of DC Comics' best-selling comic books and graphic novels, including All-Star Batman and Robin , The Boy Wonder , Batman: Hush and Superman: For Tomorrow . He also served as the Executive Creative Director for the DC Universe Online (DCUO) massively multiplayer action game from Sony Online Entertainment (SOE). With writer Geoff Johns, Lee drew the flagship title of DC Comics--The New 52, Justice League.
