Monarchs and Milkweed A Butterfly Program for Elementary Students Monday, April 4 at 11:15 a.m. Do you love butterflies? Join us for a program on Monarch butterflies and learn about their amazing life cycle and migration! Get a preview of our live Monarch caterpillar enclosure, make a butterfly craft, and then let your little ecologist join the Forsyth County Master Gardeners outside to plant butterfly-friendly seeds and plants in the Post Road Library Garden!
For elementary students, grades K-5.

Books & Babies Tuesday, April 5 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (Walkers: 10:15 a.m. and Pre-Walkers at 11:00 a.m.) Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community. This program is for babies up to 24 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes. Registration is not required.

Touch a Truck Tuesday, April 5, 1:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Come meet some awesome trucks up-close! Forsyth County Fire trucks, police cruisers, a Sawnee bucket truck, dump truck and more are all expected to make an appearance at Touch a Truck at Post Road this year! Enjoy the vehicles, then come inside to cool off with things-that-go crafts! For all ages. No registration required.

Minions Movie Party Wednesday, April 6 at 1:15 p.m. Our library kids are one in a minion! Join us to make minion crafts and play minion games before watching the movie, Minions, on our big screen with surround sound!

Puppetpalooza Thursday, April 7 at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m. It’s time for another Puppetpalooza! Come to the library for your spring break infusion of songs, dancing, and some of our favorite puppet shows!

Family Movie Picnic: Pan Friday, April 8 at 11:15 a.m. Grab your pillows and blankets and a picnic lunch and come down to the library to watch 2015's Pan (PG), a Peter Pan tale, on our big screen with surround sound.

I Like My Stories: A Groovy Pete the Cat Storytime Saturday, April 9 at 11:15 a.m. & 1:15 p.m. Pete the Cat is visiting the library! We'll be reading our favorite Pete the Cat books, singing songs, and making crafts. Make sure to bring your camera for a special meet and greet with Pete himself! This program is for all ages! Registration is not required.
