Children's Summer Quest
When school closes for summer vacation on June 7, come on over to the library to kick off the fun from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and sign up for Summer Quest: A Universe of Stories. Read for badges and prizes! Summer Quest is open to children ages 0-17. Online registration will be available from June 7 to August 24, or register in person at the library. Read more.
Tween & Teen Summer Quest
June 7 to August 24, tweens and teens age 12 to 17 can sign up to explore "A Universe of Stories". Read for fun and prizes! If you have questions, please contact Annika Sundberg at asundberg@derrytownship.org. Read more.
 
Adult Summer Reading Program
June 1 to August 31. Constellation Challenge is a reading program to encourage adults to experience the joy of reading all summer long. Pick up a brochure at the library to begin reading for fun and prizes! Read more.

Mini Challenges
From June 7 to August 24. Fun reading challenges for kids in grade 6 and higher.
Write a book review and give
recommendations for books you like, attend a teen time program, attend an Artemis session (TBA), attend Teen Yoga, or watch a science fiction movie. Each activity earns a raffle ticket for prizes. Click here for details.

A Summer Read
"A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy" by Sue Klebold. Public Libraries in Adams, Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties once again have an opportunity this year to participate in ‘A Summer Read.’ For the seventh year in a row WITF’s Transforming Health teams up with Aligning Forces for Quality – South Central PA and the Central PA library systems to present a “Summer Read.” The goal is to engage readers across Central PA to read during the summer months.
