Marvel Phase 4 is finally on a roll, whether screening in cinemas or on Disney+ there's a wealth of content now to choose from, both in terms of TV shows and movies.
The highly-anticipated post-Infinity Saga era of the MCU might have been delayed, but we've still got plenty of content to come.
It's quite a lot for even a dedicated Marvel fan to keep on top of, especially with all the release date changes that have happened since Kevin Feige first unveiled Phase 4 at Comic-Con in 2019 (yes, that long ago!).
So we're here to map out the next several years of Marvel movies and TV shows as it currently stands.
Marvel Phase 4 timeline: What are the release dates?
After several major shake-ups, here is what the timeline for the rest of Phase 4 currently stands as for both the movies and TV shows.
Given what's already happened, this is subject to further delays, but is accurate as of January 12, 2022.
- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – May 6, 2022
- Thor: Love and Thunder – July 8, 2022
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - November 11, 2022
- Ms Marvel – summer 2022
- She-Hulk – 2022
- Moon Knight – 2022
- Secret Invasion – 2022

- The Marvels – February 17, 2023

Marvel Phase 4 movies: What movies are coming out in Phase 4?
Phase 4 opened (on the movies side) with Black Widow, which is set after Captain America: Civil War.
After that there were brand-new heroes in the form of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings with Simu Liu and Tony Leung Chiu-wai, and Eternals starring the likes of Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek and Kit Harington.
Then, after a blip where we all thought Tom Holland's MCU phase had come to an end, we had the Peter Parker's familiar face in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Next in the line-up are more familiar faces with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Marvels (aka Captain Marvel 2), Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 in 2022 and 2023 after this first crop of Phase 4 movies.
For now, we're assuming that they're all part of an epic Phase 4, but there's every chance that some or all of the movies will be redefined as Phase 5 movies.
Also in development, but not confirmed for Phase 4, are that surprise Blade reboot and MCU movies for Fantastic Four and "mutants" (X-Men, basically).
Marvel Phase 4 TV shows: What's coming?
For the first time in the MCU's history, TV shows are playing a big part in the tapestry of the world, much bigger than the likes of Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix shows ever did.
We've already seen how that plays out with WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (or should that be Captain America and the Winter Soldier, now?), Loki, and Hawkeye (there's also What If... but that doesn't have any bearing on the MCU plots). Phew!
Upcoming Phase 4 TV shows are Ms Marvel in the summer of 2022, and then She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Secret Invasion all some time in 2022.
There's plenty of TV shows without release dates too that could be Phase 4 or Phase 5, but we won't list them all here. They're worth watching, though, as we all know the TV shows are now going to have a direct impact on the future MCU films.
