Join us on this date when our special guest will be Debbie Deitsch of SoINRocks. She will teach us how to turn those cast-off t-shirts into either a fringe or a ringlet scarf. If there is time, a third style may be demonstrated.
No sewing is required, but BYOS (Bring Your Own Scissors) as there will be a limited # of loaner pairs available. Also, please make sure they are sharp enough to cut through a double layer of knit fabric.
You will be able to choose from an assortment of provided t-shirts and then go home with one (1) completed fashion scarf. There will be a variety of colors to choose from and the cost is only $5.00. (This fee must be paid to the instructor at the beginning of class)
If you'd like to make a second (2nd) scarf, additional t-shirts will be available for a mere $3.00 or you may bring a 2nd t-shirt from home.
A size L (Large) or bigger t-shirt without logos or side seams works best for this craft.
This class is appropriate for ages 12 and older.
Light refreshments will be available.
(Note: This class may be cancelled if we don't have a minimum of five (5) persons pre-registered)
