Preparing for kindergarten begins long before preschool and kindergarten sign ups! Storytimes build the skills needed for kindergarten and provide helpful tips for adults to use at home. Structured around the Every Child Ready to Read™ Curriculum, storytime is a great way to have fun while working on reading skills, social skills, and motor skills.

Start It! Equipment Training is intended for individuals who would like to begin using equipment at the Library's Makerspace. Complete the Maker Makerspace Safety Training to learn more about safety and age requirements at the Exchange. All individuals should complete this tutorial before their first in-person training. 

A different Equipment Training session is required for each piece of equipment. Choose one piece of equipment from list for your training.

One training per customer per week so that we can be as accommodating to the public as possible.

Note: It is possible that training may take more than 1 hour. 

For training on the Precision Mini Lathe, the Resin 3D Printer, or the Bandsaw, call or email the LPCPL Exchange.

Please note the following equipment requires prior training on:

  • General sewing machine before Heavy Duty sewing machine
  • Sindoh / UltiMaker 3D printer before Resin 3d printer
  • X-Carve CNC mill before Roland CNC mill
  • Wood lathe before Precision Mini Lathe
