Event Details

Please join us on this date when our special guests will be Diane Walker and Bev Hmurovic.

Walker, an End of Life coach and educator, believes that we should live our dreams fully and experience our most authentic selves.  Inspired by her own experiences with her parents' deaths, she became drawn to helping others face and embrace both change and death as a natural part of life.  At the time of her parents' deaths, however, Walker was startled at how ill prepared she and her family were and how little they knew of the options we have available to us.

Hmurovic, Board President of Compassion and Choices, Indiana Chapter, resides in Indianapolis.  She has been a member of Compassion and Choices since 2015 and President of the Indiana Action Team for the past three years.

Together, Walker and Hmurovic will facilitate a conversation about the specific options we have at the end of life, some that you may not know you have and some that are misunderstood.

Compassion & Choices is a nonprofit organization in the United States working to improve patient rights and individual choice at the end of life, including access to medical aid in dying. Its primary function is advocating for and ensuring access to end-of-life options.
Registration and Social Time begins at 5:30 p.m. and the program is from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Hearty snacks and beverages will be provided!
