Be Part of the "Convergence"!
During Arts Fest on July 20, 10 am - 4 pm, Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, along with Willoughby Arts Collaborative, are taking part in a project in conjunction with the public art piece entitled “Convergence” by Ian Petroni that will be unveiled on the library lawn prior to ArtsFest. We are celebrating one of the primary elements of art design, LINE.
We will have small square wood boards that have a grid of holes in them. Kids (or grownups who want to participate) will be given little screws they can place in the board and then they can make patterns and decorate with different colors of yarn. If the artists like, their finished pieces will be displayed together for a few weeks and then they can pick them up afterwards.
There is also an Artist Reception on the Library lawn on Friday 7/19 @ 6:30 pm. All are welcome. Bring your lawn chair, beverage and enjoy A String Quartet and some munchies.
