With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later. The e-book catalog features titles from all of Harper’s publishing units, including HarperCollins Christian Publishing, HarperCollins UK, and Harlequin as well as bestselling authors Susan Mallery, Louise Erdrich, and Dennis Lehane.

  • Click “Sign Up Now” under New to hoopla?
  • Select “Port Jefferson Public Library”
  • Enter your email address, library barcode number and a password then click “Sign Up Now”

Which web browsers are supported?

Hoopla currently supports Internet Explorer 10 and newer, Chrome 39 and newer, Firefox 32 and newer, and Safari 7 and newer. Currently, Widevine (a plugin) does need to be installed on all Firefox, Safari & Internet Explorer applications. With the latest versions of Chrome & Edge nothing will need to be installed as everything comes installed in those browsers.
