CHICAGO – ALA Graphics is excited to announce more than a dozen new products in the summer catalog. Packed with new posters, bookmarks, and incentives for upcoming celebrations and more, there’s something for everyone. Wonder Woman appears on the catalog cover, taking the spotlight as the honorary chair of Library Card Sign-up Month. She encourages everyone to Lasso a Library Card this September on a poster, bookmark, and sticker.

The new catalog also launches new banned book products, including a colorful pack of silicone bracelets reminding wearers to “free your mind” and “read a banned book.” The Field Report 2019 and a bookmark featuring the Top 10 Most Challenged Books of 2019 will be unveiled on April 20, 2020 in conjunction with National Library Week. The Office for Intellectual Freedom has also created the Censored Books and Authors Poster, featuring easy-to-read answers to frequent questions about banned books.

Other new products include:

  • Vamos! Let’s Go Read poster and bookmark, featuring characters from award-winning illustrator Raúl the Third’s 2019 Pura Belpré Illustrator Honor book ¡Vamos! Let’s Go to the Market
  • Asian/Pacific American Heritage poster and bookmark, in celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month in May and featuring art from author and illustrator Dan Santat, recipient of the 2015 Caldecott Medal for The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend
