COVID-19 Information

Welcome to the Town of Scituate dedicated Covid-19 page where you will find important information from the State, Department of Public Health, and local officials as it relates to the pandemic.  We strive to provide relevant information to help you navigate these difficult and uncertain times. Scituate Community Television will record weekly updates with the Town Administrator,  member of the Select Board, as well as the Superintendent of Schools,  every Monday at 9:30 AM and will be available on YouTube as well as the Town's website.

Town Hall is open to the public. and masks are recommended for unvaccinated individuals.  We have many forms and other documents on-line and there is the ability to make payments on-line as well.  If you have any questions, Click the tab named “Town Hall Contact List” to reach any department.

The tabs on this page have information from the State and CDC as well as links to information that is Scituate specific, including weekly video and written updates on community issues.

Scituate Police and Fire personnel are on duty and are ready and able respond to emergencies.  Please call 781-545-1212 for non-emergency questions for police or fire.

Our Board of Health staff is in contact with both federal and state officials multiple times per day to stay up to date on any issue confronting the Town.   Our Department of Public Works, Water Department and Sewer Department are all on the job and continuing to work on your behalf.   The Transfer Station is open normal hours.

Seniors can contact the Senior Center at 781-545-8722 to sign-up for Meals on Wheels, ask for help in shopping, emergency transportation, or any other need during this emergency.

Anyone seeking local assistance, please click the SANDS Helps tab to let our volunteers know what you need.

While the changes we have all experienced in the past three years can at times be challenging, it is remarkable to see how generous we all can be when confronted with a shared threat.  Thank you for your continued cooperation and perseverance.

Regards,

Jim Boudreau
