Virtual Science & Technology Festival: Stop Motion Animation In-Person
For upper elementary ages, join us virtually via YouTube.
Join us for a virtual Science & Technology Festival event hosted by the Carson City Library! Today we'll be sharing how to make a green screen and stop motion animation movie from basic supplies at home. Using a free downloadable app, a little bit of imagination, and simple household items, we challenge you to create a stop motion animation movie and share it! Email creativelearning@carsoncitylibrary.org to receive a link for our DIY video. This activity can be done at your own pace and at a time that's most convenient for you! This program is hosted in partnership with Empire Elementary School.
The 3-day Science & Technology Festival event also includes a salt crystal experiment on Monday (4/27) and a science storytime at 4PM on Wednesday (4/29)!
