This 6-week workshop designed for seniors (60+) addresses the challenges adults with chronic pain face. Build self-efficacy by providing non-medical tools, including goal setting, confidence building, gentle movement techniques, physical activity and the importance of good sleep. Participants must be 60 years or older to join and should try to attend all six sessions: 2/3, 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17.
Make a bookmark, wall hanging or patch with local textile artist Cristina Edwards while learning about weaving throughout the world. Learn the embodied practice of creating fabric by hand. Participants will receive a small loom and supplies to take home and continue weaving at home.
Create tiny miniature foods in this workshop with polymer clay. We will watch videos from our favorite creators online together and then make our own creations. Supplies and tools provided.
For ages 10 and older. Space limited. Reservations required.
