May is Weaving Stories: Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Heritage month at SFPL. Check out our featured events below.


And, if your children were inspired by gold medal skater Alysa Liu, come by the library tomorrow, Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 p.m. for a Read-Aloud & Draw with illustrator and author Sara Alfageeh! Her new children's book is based on the life of five-time Emirati National Champion Zhara Lari, the first figure skater to compete internationally in a hijab. Sara is a big deal and has illustrated for Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar and more!
