Holiday Closures


All SFPL locations will close early at 5pm Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's eves (11/27, 12/24, 12/31).


We will be closed Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving (11/28 & 11/29) and Christmas (12/25) and New Year's (1/1) Days.

We're exploring starting a D&D campaign at Glen Park Branch Library Wednesdays from 2:45-5:45, depending on community interest.

Spoken Arts

Freshman Showcase

Talented first-year students from the Spoken Arts program at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts will take the stage, sharing their original poetry and performances. The Spoken Arts Freshman Showcase is a celebration of their creativity, growth and the powerful voices they've developed.

Ghostbusters

Double Feature

Enjoy the original 1980s classics that spawned this new generation of Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters II, which culminates on New Year's Eve, will start at 2:30.
