Library Building Reopening Plan
Our four-phased reopening plan (below) has been approved by the Library's Board of Trustees. As always with this pandemic, plans are subject to change, hence the reason there are no firm dates attached. We'll keep you updated each step of the way!
We can tell you that Phase 1 will begin on June 1, when our staff will gradually be returning to the building to learn new protocols and procedures, assess the layout of the building, and develop plans to operate with health and safety as a priority, as well as helping those who need it most. The building will not be open to patrons yet. When ready, we will move onto Phase 2 -- implementing our new curbside pickup service. Throughout this time we will continue to be available via phone, email, and live chat, so contact us if you have any questions. We are very excited to get back in the library and find new, creative, and safe ways to serve you all!

Savvy Sightseer's Virtual Vacation Back by popular demand -- four more 30-minute virtual vacations! Here's tour #3... London!

London is a compact, vibrant city where modern and ancient sights coexist in an odd kind of synergy. Where else could you find a Gherkin and the Eye sharing a skyline with the venerable Westminster Abbey and Big Ben? We’ll also explore “hidden” spots including the newly opened Galleries of Westminster, and the secret bunker of Winston Churchill! Email jsalvatore@sctylib.org by Friday, June 5 with the subject “London” to receive the video link available for you to view at your convenience. |
Take 2: Austria: Salzburg & Vienna There was a typo in last week’s blurb, so if you used the email link provided and had it bounce, please accept Jen’s apology. You may still email jsalvatore@sctylib.org with the subject “Austria” to receive that video link.
