SERVICE UPDATE:

AFTER SEPTEMBER 30, WE WILL NO LONGER OFFER HOOPLA.

— Why is the library discontinuing Hoopla?

We continually assess our collections to ensure we're providing the highest-quality materials for the best value for our patrons.

The library pays every time an item is checked out on Hoopla. As patron usage grows, so does our total spending. Hoopla’s business model is unsustainable and costly for rapidly growing public libraries like ours.

STAFF PICK

Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry

"I would like to recommend Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry. This is the author's first foray into the fantasy genre, and I think she hit it out of the park! The world she has built in this book feels vibrant and alive with kingdoms, gods and monsters galore.

This is an arranged marriage, extremely slow-burn romantasy that involves the wrong princess, the prince who wasn't supposed to marry her and the guardian who is legendary throughout the five kingdoms. Full of twists, turns

and secrets, this book drew me in from page one and kept me on my toes the whole time. Probably my favorite book so far this year."
