Beginning in October, signing in to Libby, the OverDrive website, and Kanopy will require both your library card number and a PIN/password. Your PIN/password is the same credential you use to sign in to your library account and CloudLibrary, and it will be used to access these digital services as well.
Sign in to your account using your library card number and PIN/password. This will confirm that your PIN/password works.
If you have never set a PIN/password, your default PIN is the last four digits of the phone number on your library account. If your account was created a long time ago or you have changed your PIN, it may be different.
2. Forgot your PIN/password? Reset it online.
If you have forgotton your PIN/password, you can reset it online if you have an email address saved in your library account.
If you do not have an email address on your account, or you need assistance, our staff will be happy to help you at the library or by phone.
3. Don't have a PIN/password? Set one up.
You can create a PIN/password online using the reset link, as long as you have an email address associated with your account. You can also ask a staff member to set one up for you.
PIN/passwords are case sensitive and must be 4 - 64 characters long. This includes numbers, letters, spaces, and most special characters, except the pipe ("|").
Taking a few minutes to verify your PIN/password now will help ensure uninterrupted access to your digital library resources in October.
