Today is the first day of the Garden Visits at The John M Parrott Centre. We have set up 6 gazebos to help with shade management in this area. In an effort to help you understand what you can expect during your visit, Candice has created a video to walk you through the process that you can view here.
Again, we would encourage you to use the online booking process so that you can see the available spots that are open and book your visit accordingly. You will receive a confirmation email regarding your booking. Here is the link for this.
If you are having trouble with this process, please reach out to cmcmullen@lennox-addington.on.ca. Please be patient with Candice though, as she is receiving a significant amount of email/phone messages on this topic.
It is important to note that the restrictions in place during these visits that includeone visitor per resident per week, facial coverings, COVID testing, active screening, physical distancing, no physical contact etc. are outlined by the Ministry of Health and Public Health. Should residents be compromised due to a failure to follow these restrictions, we have been directed by Public Health that the resident would need to be placed in isolation for 2 weeks to ensure no risk to the resident or rest of the home.
As a reminder, please ensure you have your requests for zoom, window and outdoor visits booked by 2pm on Friday for the coming weekend. This will allow us to confirm and set the schedule, communicate with staff etc to ensure we are all ready and your resident is ready for your visit.
Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair for your garden visit.
