Friends of the Library Update
Mother’s Day is in May!
We have tiny gift books for Mom, priced at 25¢.
Also regular sized books and magazines for her, too!

Did you know that the Friends of the Butler Library opened a used book store inside the library?
The store is open twice a week: Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Thursday from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
The store will not have the large number of books seen in our two big yearly sales, but the Friends have stocked the shelves with many old favorites like fiction, history, cookbooks, kid books, magazines AND MORE! Also, interesting specialty sales will available each week. You’ll find Zane Grey westerns, CDs, DVDs, and books on horses, dogs, cats, cows and whales that are waiting for their forever homes.

Prices have not changed; you can still get a hardcover for $1 and a paperback for 50--75¢, and children’s books are 25¢. Specialty sales will be individually priced. CASH and CHECKS ONLY. Credit cards cannot be accepted and we ask you to have exact change as much as possible. We will not be able to break big bills.

The room is wheelchair-friendly, but due to size, and concern over COVID-19, we will be limiting the amount of people allowed in the room at one time. MASKS MUST WORN! There will also be a time limit on browsing if there are a lot of people waiting to get in.

Currently, we can NOT accept donations. Due to safety concerns, we have no place to quarantine the books, a practice being followed by most libraries across the nation.
For questions or concerns, please contact Maggie: msouzer@yahoo.com OR 724-282-6246
