Leaving only the important apps open allows the device to function at its optimal level. Just like we go to the gym for a physical workout, mindfulness and meditation is taking the mind to the gym to strengthen it so it can remain more focused and less distracted which is a crucial skill to develop for someone working in a fast-paced, high stress work environment.
