This is what Library Director's Read?

So what I read depends on how much time I have on my hands. Sometimes it feels like not nearly enough for all I would like to read. But it is getting darker earlier and the garden doesn't need as much now. And Max will now cuddle up on our "spot" while he looks out the window and I read. Two of these books I read in ONE day. But then factor in  - it is the Year that Shall Not Be Named and it was raining (finally).

Night Swim - True crime meets courtroom drama. Wonder if she will come out with more with this protagonist. I liked her character and I would like to know more about her partner. Sounds like he would be more fun if he wasn't in the hospital. QUICK read!

One by One - I have now read everything by Ruth Ware and she continues to surprise me. The avalanche was a great setting for a "Christie" like mystery where they slowly start to disappear. You are not quite sure who you are rooting for to make it.

The Dilemma - This was a 2 day read. Heartwrenching back and forth between husband and wife. Who has the worst news for the other and who will be able to handle it?

We ride upon sticks - so I couldn't resist this one. I mean it is the Danvers High School field Hockey team of 1989 (and since I was playing back then - I know she even got it right when she names off the powerhouses of field hockey in the tournament). Is it witchcraft? Is it a self fulfilling prophecy? Or are they just making trouble? And the comments on the HAIR, hahaha! We all used way too much Aquanet back then.

Happy Reading!
