An engaging and interesting talk on the extremely unique career as one of the world's top Master Chainsaw Sculptors with lots of fun pictures! Over the course of the last 20+ years doing, Dr. “The Machine” Jesse Green has been commissioned to create large-scale sculptures for celebrities, foreign royalty, rock stars, corporations, networks, the military, cities, towns, universities, art collectors, and more. In addition to starring in the docu-series American Chainsaw on the National Geographic Channel, he has written the first book in a planned trilogy: Chainsaws, Cheeseburgers, and Rock ‘n’ Roll. Copies will be available for sale and signing at the event.

Bead Therapy with ZMakesBeads is an expressive arts workshop that teaches participants the basics of beaded jewelry making and the difference between semi-precious stones and precious stones. The materials used are semi-precious stones and other natural jewelry materials. Semi-precious stones have been appreciated for generations for their unique beauty and healing and grounding properties. Participants will keep the pieces you make!

The Savers Truck will be at Plumb Library on Saturday, October 11 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM to pick up donated clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, handbags, linens, and books. Please use standard kitchen-size bags to bag the soft goods. Books must be boxed separately from soft goods. Every pound of items collected earns money for the Friends of Plumb Library.
