The Paradise Paradox

This month's movie is The Paradise Paradox. This film explores the mental health crisis affecting America's mountain towns and the innovative solutions being developed in response. Bookmark Art Contest

Help us design awesome bookmarks to promote the 2024 Summer Reading Program. This year's theme is "Adventure Begins at Your Library," and we will focus on highlighting all types of adventures! The art contest is open to school aged kids in grades PreK-12! Visit your local library for contest rules and artwork templates. A signed Art Contest Waiver will be required for each participant to be included in the judging.

Homeschool Hangout
We invite homeschool parents and children throughout Grand County to visit, play, and connect with new friends at the centrally-located Hot Sulphur Springs Library every Friday.
Read to a Dog
Come to the library and have fun reading to your new four-legged friend! Meet Tango (and his handler Christina). All ages are welcome, and children do not have to be reading ready to visit. Children should be accompanied by and adult.

Registration required.
Need snowshoes? No worries, GCLD has snowshoes and poles to checkout. Outdoor adventures are held on varied terrain with altering conditions. Adults only; no pets. GCLD may cancel hikes due to adverse weather or trail conditions. Notification of cancelation will be sent to registrants.
