First Responder Therapy Dogs Story Time

Registration Opens June 29 at 9:00AM

Join Tracy Ryan and her team of therapy dogs as they teach us what it means to be a First Responder Therapy Dog! She will read her book No Matter the Forecast, Our Paws are Ready: Therapy Dogs Helping First Responders. Enjoy a story and some time with a therapy dog team. First Responder Therapy Dogs leads the way in addressing the mental health needs of first responders by providing emotional support using therapy dogs.

Shark Story Time

Registration Opens July 3 at 9:00AM

Enjoy a reading of a shark-themed story with Atlantic White Shark Conservancy. This program is recommended for children ages 5+.

Tie Dye

Registration Opens July 6 at 9:00AM

Event Date: Thursday, July 20 at 1:00PM

Bring in a cotton item and join us outside behind the library to tie dye! Limit one item per person, you must bring your own item. Any cotton item works - get creative! Tie dye socks, a tote bag, or a t-shirt. Rain date for this event is Thursday, July 27.

Family Yoga with Marybeth of Maha Yoga

Join us for a free family yoga class, presented by Marybeth of Maha Yoga. Family Yoga is a perfect way to get everyone together all while being an active participant!

Details:

  1. We recommend kids at 8 years old and/or older or kids that can follow directions along with their parents.
  2. Please bring your own yoga mat and dress in comfortable clothes.

  2. Please register EACH PERSON INDIVIDUALLY as spaces are limited for this program.
  3. If you wish to attend multiple classes, please register for EACH CLASS.

Black Music Month


This June, and year-round, we honor the influence and impact of Black musicians, singers, and songwriters in American culture.

When you place a book on hold it gets shipped to the Bridgewater Public Library free of charge. You will then be notified when it is available for pickup! You can also look for these titles as e-books & audiobooks using the Libby and Hoopla Apps.
