Seeking Kid's Shoes!

3 WEEKS LEFT! 

Amazing work by this community. In one month, you have helped us collect 100 pairs of kid's shoes!!! A MASSIVE THANK YOU to all who have donated. Let's try and get another 100 by the end of August. Please consider going through your child's gently worn shoes for donation. The donation bin is located by the circulation desk.

First Responder Therapy Dogs leads the way in addressing the mental health needs of first responders by providing emotional support using therapy dogs.  

We wrote this children's book, No Matter the Forecast, Our Paws Are Ready. Therapy Dogs Helping First Responders, to showcase some special moments that have been captured on visits and to share how our volunteers positively impact First Responders across the country.  

First Responder Therapy Dogs currently has 300 teams in 42 different states certified, and we are fortunate to have 22 of those teams in Massachusetts.  We hope you enjoy our book and enjoy spending time with some of our therapy dog teams!

Join Easton Children's Museum's program, STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). They've added the “R” for reading! By incorporating literacy into the programming, we are promoting critical thinking and creativity with your little one! 

Join us for story time with a related activity to follow every Thursday morning this summer. 

This week we will be reading What Do You Do With a Tail Like This? and doing two activities based on the story

This program is for ages preschool to grade 2.

Anime Club - Additional Days and New Times!!

Teens and Tweens! Through the end of August, please join us for anime on Monday and Fridays from 3-4 p.m. We will meet at our regular time on Wednesdays from 4-5pm. Come socialize, talk about anime and manga, and watch the latest streamed anime.

You'll get first look and checkouts of any new manga before it hits the shelves! We'll provide the snacks on Wednesdays but feel free to bring your own on Mondays and Fridays.

Hello Pokemon Trainers! Are you ready to get your game on at the Bridgewater Public Library?

  • Bring your own cards. We'll have a few extras to make a deck.
  • Trades are encouraged and part of the excitement! The student trainer will be available to provide guidance in an effort to make trading an enjoyable experience for all, but each person is responsible for his or her own trades. The club and library are not liable for any trades.
  • The Club will be run by a student trainer and is open to   kids 6-12 years old. A guardian must remain with kid(s).

Explore the world of terrariums & then make your own. Learn to create & care for your own miniature garden inside a small glass or plastic container. We’ll bring the materials, you bring the creativity!

You'll discover the history of terrariums, the best plants to use, along with essential techniques for care and maintenance. Each participant will design and build a beautiful miniature terrarium to take home. You’ll also get plant and materials lists.

Join Triumph for Read & Draw with Me! Join us for family fun, with story time and art exploration while building your child's social skills.

 For children ages 3-6 and registration is required.  

Read & Draw is funded by a grant awarded to Triumph, INC by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Registration is required and space is limited. Please register for each class separately during the summer months.

The TaleSpinners has existed for nearly twenty years and is open to all. The TaleSpinners meet on Thursdays, year round, from 1-3 PM in the Mary Jarvis Conference Room.

The TaleSpinners encourage all sorts of writing: memoir, poetry, short stories, and/or novels. The TaleSpinners write in all genres: mystery, thrillers, science fiction, romance, humor. We engage in gentle, helpful, and encouraging critiques of one another’s writing, and everyone gets a chance to share their work.

We ask each writer to come with copies of his/her work for the rest of the group to write their comments and suggestions upon.

No registration required.
