Donation Drives!

LAST WEEK TO HELP KIDS STAY WARM THIS WINTER!

The Boston Bruins, Cradles to Crayons, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are once again partnering to rally communities in support of children in need across Massachusetts with a pajama drive! We are looking for brand-new pajamas, appropriate for all seasons, and in all sizes. 


Please do not give pajamas that include any family or holiday references, and refer to our Quality = Dignity guidelines.Your donations will help provide thousands of children with a warm pair of pajamas! 

The library will be accepting pajama donations 

from February 2 - March 14.

For the months of March and April, we are thrilled to once again, partner with Walt’s Mobile Closet and announce our Purse & Makeup Drive to support underserved women in our community!


Donations can be dropped off in the bin by our Circulation Desk during normal business hours.

We would like to introduce you to Eddie. Eddie is a constant staple here at the Bridgewater Public Library. So much so that we have decided to name our coffee station after him. Visit Eddie at Eddie's Coffee Corner!

Monday, March 16 at 6PM

Back by popular demand! After patrons raved about the first session, 

van Gogh or van Oh No! returns to the library for another round of creative fun. Participants draw each other blindfolded, then paint portraits based on their original “vision.” No experience needed—just a sense of humor. All hilariously unique artwork will be displayed in the library’s art gallery. All materials provided. 

Come with a partner - ONLY ONE PARTNER MUST REGISTER PER PAIR.

Come join Celestial B as she guides you on a Tarot journey!

Together, you will explore setting up a Tarot journal, selecting and charging your deck, clearing cards, connecting with your energy, building intuition, and familiarizing yourself with the cards.

Come enjoy an evening of calmness and relaxation with Claudia D'Emilia Iafrate. Claudia was introduced to Reiki in 2007, and by 2016, she obtained attunements of level three as a Reiki Master Teacher.

About This Event:

Experience the calming vibrations in the pure frequencies of the 7 Rose Quartz Crystal bowls, multi-dimensional Symphonic Gong and a variety of other healing instruments as they “bathe” away the chatter and stresses of everyday life. Recalibrate on a cellular level. Find deep relaxation and restoration of mind, body, and spirit.

Please bring with you an exercise/yoga mat, pillow, blanket…maybe even a sleeping bag, whatever you need to find comfort while resting.

This program is for adults age 18+

Story Time with Big Ryan focuses more on Puppet Play and Music and Movement.  Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes.

Join Triumph for Read & Draw with Me! Join us for family fun, with story time and art exploration while building your child's social skills.  For children ages 3-6 and registration is required.  

Read & Draw is funded by a grant awarded to Triumph, INC by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Registration is required and space is limited.

Hello Pokemon Trainers! Are you ready to get your game on at the Bridgewater Public Library?

  • Bring your own cards. We'll have a few extras to make a deck.
  • Trades are encouraged and part of the excitement! The student trainer will be available to provide guidance in an effort to make trading an enjoyable experience for all, but each person is responsible for his or her own trades. The club and library are not liable for any trades.
  • The Club will be run by a student trainer and is open to   kids 6-12 years old. A guardian must remain with kid(s).

Join the Book Club and the One Book One Community for a discussion of Sitting pretty : the view from my ordinary resilient disabled body. Books are available for checkout at the front desk. In eight thought-provoking and nuanced essays, Taussig explores the complexities of growing up with a disability, from the time she was a toddler through adulthood.
