 Spread the Joy!

Join us this holiday season for our annual Holiday Giving Drive, where we come together to make the season brighter for families in need. This year, we’re collecting toys, gift cards, and other gifts to ensure every child and family experiences the magic of the holidays. Your generosity can bring joy, hope, and smiles to our community.

Be sure to visit our Giving Tree, now on display in our lobby. Each ornament represents a wish or need. Choose one (or more!) to make someone’s holiday special. Donations will be accepted from December 3rd to December 23rd.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Let’s celebrate the spirit of giving together!

Help Us Make Change!

So far through your donations, we have been able to provide the food bank with over 957 much needed items.

Please continue to give generously!

This year, the need is greater than ever—twice as many families in our community are struggling to put food on the table.

With your support, we can bring comfort and warmth to those facing tough times. Please join us by donating non-perishable food items to help us reach even more families in need.

Items can be dropped off at the circulation desk.

Together, we can make sure no one goes hungry this holiday season.

Give generously. Every donation counts.

Monday Night Genealogy Drop-In: Find a Community While Searching for your Ancestors

The Bridgewater Public Library invites all family historians to meet informally on Monday evenings to research together! Whether you have been researching for years or you’re just getting started, it’s always more fun to work together.

Bridgewater Public Library subscribes to Ancestry Library Edition (so you don’t have to) and we recently became a FamilySearch Affiliate Library, too. We also have many resources in the History Room.

All of this is available anytime the library is open, of course, but we’re hoping that researching together on Monday nights will help us build a genealogical community while we each build our family trees.

No Registration Required.

Flora T. Little Art Gallery

December Artist

Now On Display

Julie Thorniley's Arty By Julie exhibition will remain on display in the Flora T. Little Gallery through the month of December.

About the Artist:

Julie's artistic journey began twenty years ago, driven by her deep admiration for painting. After settling in Boston, she discovered her true passion through a friend's art classes. Since then, she has been captivated by the beauty of nature, constantly envisioning how to immortalize it on canvas.

Join me as I embark on this colorful adventure, capturing the world's wonders one brushstroke at a time.
